The best deodorant I've ever used

I have been using Old Spice Endurance for years because it was the best performer. A few days ago for the first time I used an alum block (apply wet) as deodorant and the improvement is huge. It's all natural, has been around for thousands of years and doesn't have a scent so it doesn't interfere with cologne.

Anyone else use alum block as deodorant?

I like to rub a small amount of baking powder while the alum is still wet. It gives it a little extra deodorizing power.

I've been using a Thai crystal for a couple months now and am very impressed. I bought it a year ago and used it for a couple weeks initially but it didn't seam to be doing the job, I decided to give it another chance and for some reason it's working a whole lot better this time. I'm not sure what the difference is other than now I am spending about 7-10 seconds on each arm making sure I get total and complete coverage.

It's kind of strange to me that here is absolutely no smell when I change my shirt at the end of the day where normally there would be a deodorant or or slight BO smell, now it just smells like arm.

Ive been using the spray for a couple of years now. It is the most fantastic product but one must keep in mind that it's not an anti-perspirant so the sweating will still occur. I use a natural anti-perspirant over the top of the alum spray but it has very limited capability.

I use Thai crystal as well. I became allergic to the aluminum used in mainstream anti-per spirants so had to try something else and the alum has worked the best of alternative products (for me). I get a slight odor occasionally but usually only if I skip an application like on a Sat. Morning I like the fact it is natural tho!

Alum crystal deodorants are great: very effective and last forever, so the cost/day is super low. I like to combine them with either aftershave or other natural deodorants.

Yep. Switched to Crystal well over a year ago and using Thai right now. It works great.

For the more experienced guys here is a question. What is the proper dilution for alum crystal powder mixed with sterile water for an effective spray?
I have several stones and would like to make my own alum spray but cannot find info on alum powder/water ratio.

I tried using it for a while and didn't like it at all. I prefer an antiperspirant.

I am a lucky boy. I have never needed to use any deodorant or antiperspirant. I don't have any odor (unless I go over a week or more without showering and that don't happen)

It works great on the arm pits but don't use it below the belt or it will cause burns and severe, painful irritation!

I use this all natural alum spray and am very happy. I can work out on a 90 degree day and still be sweat & odor free. My wife actually started using this too and she loves it. I heard about it from Howard Stern on his show as he was praising it to high heaven.
