The latest update from Memphis is "Clearance in Progress" as of 11 pm last night. Delivery date still "pending"

I am hopeful it will arrive sometime this week.

Your patience is amazing. I would have drive to Memphis and been standing at the chain link fence with a “FREE SNOOPY” sign.
My plan wouldn’t work, but I could hit up Beale street for some music and BBQ.

I'm sorry- I know where Mt Airey is located, but I thought you were adjacent to Pilot Mountain, which, after all, is where Andy set his fictional Mayberry, Mt Airey be damned.

Sheesh, mine is almost worn out… and I am in Canada!

I bet it arrives soon. When I begin to worry about a package it almost always appears.

A tail end to the story of the arrival of my excellent black-brown bulb.

I got 4 pages of documents from FedEx today about the purchase. 7 pages, if we're counting double sides. The first page was an invoice for $0.00. I think I can afford that.

The page that cracked me up, though, was the last one, a clearance from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. I guess it was in their jurisdiction because it was part of a badger.

My invoice arrived today, also for $0 "Duties, Tax, Customs, Other Fees". (They managed to fit everything onto only three pages, all double sided...)

I am so sorry, @JWCowboy. I imagine this has sucked a lot of the enjoyment out of this for you- I know that would be my reaction, anyway. The feedback on these brushes has been more positive than we could have hoped to see, so at least you can look forward to eventually receiving a brush that most likely won't disappoint.
