Enjoying this very much.

I put two very small ice cubes in it, when I say small, I mean washed down to about the size of two peas.

One, to add water as most suggest to open it up

Two, to cool it a tad, as room temp is about 75 right now.


Two sips in, I am enjoying it very much.

I just finished the last sip of my bottle of Balvenie this minute. It's a lovely drink, isn't it? Complex and sweet and just all-around satisfying.

Fortunately I have an unopened Lafroaig on the counter which should tide me over till I can get more.

After trying both side-by-side, I still prefer Balvenie Signature to Doublewood. But YMMV.

Gadzooks, I do enjoy the Balvenie Doublewood! I keep that one for myself and a select few friends who really appreciate the subtleties of fine scotch.

I really enjoy the Doublewood as well. When I saw "ice cubes" my heard skipped a beat, glad you clarified!
