Thanks, y'all! I'm really proud of it. I have a question about it. How are you meant to turn the adjustment screws? Because when I got it it wasn't wanting to hold a blade evenly and the only way I could find to turn those tiny screws was with a pair of pliers. It worked and the blade fits in nicely now but the adjustment screws got scratched up a bit.

Beautiful razor. I love the way mine shaves.
On mine there is a small whole in the end of one of the ends of the handle section. It's actually not round. It's slightly rectangular and is the wrench so to speak. I will try to remember to get a picture of it tomorrow.

I picked up a few beautiful razors. Truly these are works of art along with many of the ones shown in this thread. Photos attached are razors as purchased. Not cleaned, wiped, sanitized.

What I want to know before I decide if I even want to try to shave with these is, are there any modern razor blades to use without a lot of Jerry rigging?

Not a lot of jury rigging needed. There is an adapter for modern Gem blades available from Frugal Shave on Etsy that I use. It may not be needed on all of your razors, but I think it helps keep the proper angle. Make sure you get blades intended for shaving and not scraper blades.

See post 767 for a pic of if one of my razors with the adapter in use.

Hard to see the wedge in #767. Is this the one? Wedge Razor Spineless Gem Blade Adapters - Etsy Hong Kong - https://www.etsy.com/hk-en/listing/613777958/wedge-razor-spineless-gem-blade-adapters?variation0=890187685
