Aprilialille, I have the Vikings Blade Vulcan that you mentioned. However I love the razor and get excellent results with it. I did come right out of the gate using Feathers and Gillette 7oclocks though. That may be the difference.
This is just a shot in the dark, but the Vulcan may be oversized for your face. It’s a rather large and hefty razor. However this bodes very well for me as I have very large hands and a big round face. I could see where it could be a problem for folks with a small face and narrow angles.
I also have a Captains Choice, Merkur Futur and Muhle R41. Of the four, the Vulcan is my choice for daily shaving. I enjoy it that much.

Thanks for the reply I still have it. Maybe I'll try it again after the months now of shaving. I've been using my rocnel elite and tatara and have been enjoying the shaves from them
