This is my famous Thater brush. It started as a boar, but the Thater factory recently replaced the original and broken boar knot with the famous Thater two band silvertip. They were anxious to please me and probably picked a premium knot.
I believe the brush will be very suitable for anyone who bowl lathers. It is very very soft and has decent backbone without even a hint of scritch. I have used it only two times and written on the forum about both of those uses of the brush.
In the top photo the brush had just been opened and had never been wet.
You will find the same brush for sale and with plenty of glowing reviews to read. It has a retail price of $165 at the vendors I checked.
The second photo shows the brush as it is now.
I am willing to trade the brush for a straight razor (or straight razors) of equal value.
I am also willing to sell the brush for $145 including the least expensive USPS shipping. CONUS only.
Thank you for giving consideration to this offer.
Happy shaves,
Jim
