Thanksgiving Contest

Thank you so much and Happy Thanksgiving! So great to have won and am excited to try products that have come so highly recommended by so many others. So generous, thank you.

Not in, but a memorable thanksgiving from my past would be very early 1970's. My parents were hosting my mother's sisters family (a clan of 8) and us (a clan of 6). Dinner was scheduled to be at 1:30 in the afternoon and us kids were playing. About noon I hear a wail from my mother. She had forgotten to turn on the oven and the turkey had been sitting in a cool oven for the past 4 hours. We ended up eating about 6, but none of the kids were hungry as we'd snacked on olives and crackers all afternoon.

I'm in.

One of my favorite Thanksgiving memories was in 1991 when I was living in France and experiencing my first Thanksgiving away from home. A few of us got together at our church and made a make-shift meal. It wasn't the best food by a long shot, but it was a good time.
