for the red tip. I was really appreciating the GC84, but the safety bar is thin and causes a problem over a round chin. The pointed aspect of the bar doesn't glide easily over something so round, but otherwise that is a great razor. However, and purpose of this post, is to praise the red tip as the head and bar seem so perfect. Recently, I've been wondering when the new razor process will slow down as it's become fashion to buy and buy looking for the right one. Gillette made it a long time ago.

Never tried the GC 84, however, full support for the praise of the Red Tip, both aesthetically and shave-wise.
