I also like how you can get advice from knowing folk about how to load a brush, sharpen a straight razor, choose a pipe tobacco, cook dinner, find a scotch to go with that dinner, work out, fish, hunt, and probably someone here could help me bore the heads on my motorcycle. It's a one stop shop!

Do you have a fountain pen yet?
No I dont as my hand writing is horrible even after 8 years of old catholic school (71-79).
So's mine. But a fountain pen adds a certain panache to my scribbles.
You know, I never saw the appeal of a fountain pen. Seen plenty of pretty ones, some beautiful ones. But nothing I had to buy. Mechanical pencils on the other hand...
