Thaeter - Family Pictures

Since I talk about them, I thought it is time to present them in a family picture. Below they are:

3 x 22mm 3 band in various octo handles (4125-0, 41925-0)
1 x 24mm 3 band plexi handle (41925-1)
1 x 22mm Two Band bulb 4125-0
1 x 24mm Two Band bulb 4125-1
1 x 25mm Two Band bulb 4292/5

Probable the softest brushes out there ... And the 2 band bulbs are probably the most versatile of them all...

I may have to get another one....

I love em all German! The Thaters with out doubt get the most love out of all my brushes. Between my Thaters and a Rooney 2XL I recently acquired that contains the original batch of Heritage hair, Im not sure I enjoy my other brushes anymore. I may need to replace them with more Thaters. :)

It's a great family photo German. I thought I was perfectly fine with (only) one 3-band Thater 41925. I don't think so anymore; it started asking for a 2-band sibling.

Wow, that is a whole bunch of beautiful badger hair.

One question: Thaeter - is ae a replacement for ä?

+1 - I have not figured out yet how to easily produce the correct "Umlaut" on my U.S. keyboard. In its absence the correct spelling is indeed "ae".

If you have a Mac, hit both "alt" and the "u" key places the umlaut, then hit the letter "a" and it places it under the umlaut.

You can also type 0228 while holding down the alt key (ALT+0228). My phone's keyboard doesn't have an alt key, but now I know to type Thaeter.

I've kept it "Thater" because most people don't know the umlaut rule, and everyone one will be searching "Thater" not "Thaeter".

One of the many great things about this forum is that a thread of brush pictures can digress into a diaeresis discussion. It keeps me coming back.

Beautiful set of Thäters! On the ipad, just hold down the "a" and it gives you options to select from. The iphone should be the same.
