TGN Finest, the lover

A few weeks ago I asked for suggestions on a brush and after some feedback I was about to pull the trigger on a Rooney or Simpsons. Massive research on the forum and I found myself pulling the trigger on a 22mm TGN Finest. I did some more thinking and I reloaded and pulled the trigger a few hours later and decided to reknot my AOS brush with a silvertip Grade A 20 mm. All I can say is wow on the Finest knot. It is spectacular. Now I know my previous brushes gave me no love because this brush loves me back. It has this gel like feel that is just outrageous and the head is so full of luscious lather. This brush has brought me back to why I went wet shaving in the first place. For a few years my DE shaving had begun to be mundane, my go to brush being my EG synthetic. It did the job admirably, but now I realized it didn't love me back. The Silvertip Grade A is Ok and I alternate between the two, but I probably wouldn't alternate at all if my Finest was dry the next day. Should I wait till its dry? Is it healthy for the brush to alternate a day? Heck, am I healthy for feeling this way? I feel like I must take care of my new baby!

Letting it dry completely will accelerate the break-in process, but if it already performs great there is no need to rush it. Just make sure it's dry if you pack it down for travel.

I stuck one in a vintage Old Spice handle (the wood and navy blue one), and it's probably my second favorite brush out of seven. I don't know why it doesn't cost twice what TGN charges for it.
