I used my new brush with a TGN Finest-2 and a Cobalt blue handle. The knot has a little less backbone than the regular TGN Finest but is has very soft tips. I will give it a go all week with other soaps and creams and see how it goes. So far I am loving it!

I'm receiving a brush with this knot on Wednesday and look forward to trying it. What I'd like to know is how the
TGN Finest-2 differs from the TGN Finest F2. I like TGN Finest very much, and hope that these new knots don't sacrifice a lot of backbone.

I wouldn't say a lot of backbone is sacrificed. The tips are definitely softer

I would agree with that, there is still a lot more backbone than the other silvertips from TGN
This is my impression as well. The F2 is a very nice knot.
I've just received a TGN Finest F2 knot, 26 mm/49 mm. I am not pleased at the lack of backbone. Softness of tips is OK, but nothing special by any means. Luckily, they are not expensive.
