I'm told that Kais are a hair wider than other blades, which would make them a little more aggressive. I know that they feel that way to me. To me they are just as sharp as a Feather, and last longer. They work great using a light touch.
Match made in shaving heaven.I have some Kai blades on the way... they will be here tomorrow.. for my Flat Bottom Tech which is scheduled to be delivered Saturday.
Following up to this - dialing back to a lower setting and using a different angle made a huge difference. I now appreciate what a super sharp blade can offer. I'll keep work thru my sample stash but KAI's are in the top rank so far.I'm really glad I registered and found this thread ..... I'm pretty new to DE shaving, and am working my way thru blade samples. Tried the KAI last night in my Fatboy and almost took it out. Dialed back from 4 to 3 and finished, but was assuming the KAI was too aggressive. I'll give it a go at 2 or 1 and see how that goes.
