Test lather of Coates Almond shave cream

I just received a set of original Coates shave cream tubes of assorted scents. I only test lathered for now the Almond so I can only comment on the latherability and look of it.
It seemed to be a nice thick cream. It is definitely a thirsty cream. I just kept adding water slowly and it just kept getting thicker.
The only disappointing part is there wasn't much of a smell.

I've heard the almond never had that strong of a scent to begin with, and now over the years it has less scent remaining than the other Coate's scents. However, I have heard someone say they've had success resurrecting them by adding water and briefly microwaving, stirring, and repeating. I can't vouch for the method but I found it interesting.
