Got a sample of Terre d'Hermès parfum yesterday, and I was instantly smitten with the scent. To my nose, it's quite different than the EdT and the longevity is amazing. I'm definitely considering the purchase of a full bottle.
However, I'm little confused about pricing.
At stores like Sephora, the parfum comes in two sizes: 2.5 oz ($118) and 6.7 oz ($210)
However, on the Hermès web site, they have a much better price: a 1 oz bottle AND a 4.2 refill for $135 - http://usa.hermes.com/perfumes/men/terre-d-hermes/fragrances/terre-d-hermes-23620.html
Does anyone else feel like that deal seems too good to be true? So in a store, it's $118 for 2.5 oz, or for an additional $17 you can get over double the amount of parfum if purchased online?
I want to be sure it's the exact same parfum that I sampled at Sephora. The bottle looks different, but it's a smaller size and perhaps has a different design. I called their customer service line, but their rep was clueless.
Anybody else ordered this parfum directly from the Hermès web site?
I see that the site does offer a 30 day return policy, so I guess I've got nothing to lose if I decide to go for it.
