Tell Me About Taylor of Old Bond Street Lavender

I was recently gifted a tub of Taylor of Old Bond Street Lavender. What a marvelous soap. Can you tell me more about it?

I have their lavender cream in a tub but I honestly don’t like it much. The scent is quite faint, the scent that is there seems synthetic to me. The performance of the cream is ok, nothing special. I’m trying to finish off this tub to make room in my den for B&M lavender or perhaps stirling bergamot lavender. I much prefer the American artisan products these days. That’s my personal opinion, but lots of people use and like TOBS.

The tub I have is most certainly not weak scented. Lathering fills the room with a nice clean lavender fragrance. The scent is similar to but stronger than DR Harris Lavender.
