I have a couple of open-combs with bent teeth (a Gillette Old and a New). The razors are in decent shape otherwise. Any suggestions on how to straighten the teeth will be greatly appreciated.
If you have a way to apply heat (read: fire) to the area, and you're very careful, you might not break them upon trying to straighten them out. However, you'll probably break them anyway. Bending them work hardens them, so they're brittle when you attempt to bend them back. My suggestion is to not attempt it.
Look up annealing brass. It is easy and does not require special equipment. The razor is probably partially work hardened in production so it will be more prone to bending again.
How badly bent are they? Obviously if too far they will snap off no matter what you do since the far side of the bend expands/stretches when it bent and can't be contracted back to the same size. It's like trying to straighten a bent paperclip.
Take the razor to a jeweler. Jeweler's fix things like this every day. A jeweler can fix something like this in a few minutes. Many would be able to fix the razor while you wait.
If the jeweler doesn't immediately give you a price and tell you that it's not a problem; leave. The person doesn't know what they're doing.
