Taylor of old bonds street

Just received my first tub of Taylor of old bonds street
Eton College Collection and i have to say it is great stuff,The lather was alot from just a little amount in my shave bowl.

What other scents would the fine folks here recommend?

For TOBS I would highly recommend the tobacco leaf scent. It's so nice.
Peppermint is also fun if you want cooling without menthol.

Those both seems really nice, i think my wallet has begun to get smaller now

Sandalwood, Cedarwood and Rose are my favourites. A little on the brush goes a long way with TOBS.

I noticed that about the amount needed, i put a pea size in my shave bowl and it was full

Good choice and less is best. Concur with Tobacco Leaf. Royal Forest is a winner too.

I tried Sandalwood, Cedarwood, and Mr.Taylor's and they were all good performers, but my favourite by far was Jermyn Street, a beautiful old school lavender citrus scent.

The St Jermyn Street (sensitive skin formula) is actually wonderful stuff. Light fragrance of citrus and lavender, haven’t used it in a long time but you can trust Marco is spot on!

I may have to stand clear of that scent then i'm not a fan of overly strong perfumy scents

I like the TOBS Sandalwood cream, but you should be aware that the scent is very strong, perfumy, and nothing like real sandalwood.

And it's up there with my all time favorite shaving cream. It seems to be a love it or hate scent. I it.

Some years ago, I used that particular cream as well as Bigelow (Proraso), to see if I liked using creams.
I am a puck person only now.
