Taylor of Old Bond Street butterfly razor

I sent an email to TOBS asking about their butterfly razor. I read here that the consensus opinion was that this was either a Parker or a Weishi. I sent TOBS an email asking where the razor was made. The first reply was that it was made in Germany for them. I followed up asking if it was made by Merkur. TOBS replied stating that the razor is made in germany for them. What do you think?

The 06490 Chrome Butterfly Razor is not made by Merkur.

This is an unbranded butterfly razor which we get from Germany.

They are re-branded Parker's.Fresh from a sweat shop in India via several middle-men.Thus the over inflated price.

From an online shave shop on this razor. Made in Germany exclusively for Taylor of Old Bond Street
The box it comes in also says "Manufactured in the EU". I guess the parts could be made elsewhere and assembled in Germany, but it is Made in Germany.
