Target is selling the Van der Hagen luxury shave set for $19.99.

While I was out shopping yesterday, I decided to walk across the street to Target to see if they have any traditional shaving stuff and of course they didn't...or so I thought.

As I was walking back out, I noticed a familiar looking box atop a cloths rack in the men's department where they sell all of those boxed gifts this time of year and it turned out to be the Van der Hagen luxury shave set for $19.99!

I bought the last one and it's great! The mug alone is worth the price.

It's good to see how popular all of these shave kits are this year. My Wal-Mart is sold out of all the VDH premium kits too.

I think the luxury is one of the best VDH soaps, scent wise. They all give good quality lather.

Shipping charges would kill me, otherwise I'd send you a puck of the soap. I shipped a 2oz package to France for a PIF over the summer, and the shipping cost almost $20.

Thanks for posting. I stopped at target and picked up a box today. I'm new to wet shaving and still building my kit. I was thinking of ordering a mug like the one in the kit, and a razor/brush stand. Both of those would have cost me a bit more than $20. But now I've got another decent cheap brush, and more soap to try as well.

Wait until after Christmas, I'm sure it'll go on clearance and be cheaper to. I got one set already, but I'll check after the holidays and snag another kit.
