I stumbled onto a "trick" today while honing a near wedge with tape that I am guessing others have discovered that I think is worth sharing.
It has always taken me more time to align the tape over the end of the heel than I would like. I usually hold the razor in my left hand blade down, and then try to align the end of the tape closest to my body with the end of the heel, guessing until I get it right. By accident I pressed the index finger of my left hand up against the heal of the razor and when I looked down I could see where the end of the heal was because my finger was pressed up against it. Simple, and saved me a bunch of time.
