I'm wondering how long it took others to tame their forms of AD? Perhaps its a personality characteristic of wet-shavers, but it seems common. Believe it or not, I have not bought a cream, razor, or brush in weeks (now, its EdT's). The symptoms were (are):
1) obsession to "get it right",
2) desire to try every product that was raved about on B&B,
3) following the forum (especially B/S/T) for extended periods of time,
4) becoming acquainted with all the vendors
There are more sx, those are just what popped into my head. What happens is stuff arrives far faster than I can try it. I went back and re-read (highly-recommended) the tutorials, wised up, and started trying to maintain some semblance of consistency.
Fortunately (especially for my budget), recovery has started. Does a *normal* person need four DE razors, eleven straights, four brands of blades, six soaps, eight creams, seven aftershaves (ooops...seven splashes AND five balms), and sixteen EdT's (not counting samples and decants)?? There is hope....perhaps we need a 12-step program.
