Man, I sure do miss the tamale ladies who would come around the bars and sell wonderful tamales by the dozen.

Oh yeah. There used to be a lady that came by the office I worked at selling them. We'd all buy a dozen apiece.

My aunt in Uvalde used to have a Mexican lady come over and they'd spend a weekend making tamales. Great stuff.

Yes they do. They're not half bad but priced a tad bit high per dozen. The secret to a great tamale is the use of just enough masa and a whole lot of filling.
