Tallba Swedish Pine Soap

Has anyone tried this stuff? I love a good pine scent, something on the order of QED's shave soap and was wondering if the Tallba comes close. If anyone has any other suggestions, I'd love to hear em. I've tried and don't like the smokey pine tar soaps or Lightfoots.

I am curious about this one too. I am on a Pine kick lately. I picked up Aubrey Organics Northwoods A/S last week at Capers & on order is Mama Bear's Northwoods shave soap. There is something about that Pine scent that just seems to go with shave products IMO. :001_smile

I used it several years ago. The main thing I remember about it is that I found it to be very drying. I seem to recall liking the scent, but I couldn't handle how it made my skin feel, so I never used it after the first couple of tries. I haven't tried the QED product, so I cannot comment on similarities between the two.

Got this from a nearby general store. Super scent, but it didn't last as long as I'd like a $6+ bar of soap to last. I've since moved on to Sappo Hill which lasts nearly as long at less than a third of the price, though I miss the pine scent.

Tallba is the soap I am curently using.
Two types of soap are offered - both with the same pine scent.
Along with the normal bar there is a Glycerine soap which is less drying.
Although in the cold and dry winter months I think just about every soap is drying.
