What is so great about the Simpson brushes? For the Sub $100 price, you can get a nice custom brush from Mr. Vey, and a host of other quality brushes.
And while I have bought quite a few, I can't see what the hype is about a $140 and up mass produced brush..

Rudy Vey makes some nice handles and Shavemac makes some nice knots. Simpson’s are a different product altogether. I wouldn’t compare them. Not that one is better than the other, but their brushes behave differently and I enjoy the variety. If I could only buy one or the other I would choose Simpson but that’s purely preference.

I’m liking it quite a bit, and it passes the MWF test so the rest should be no problem!
