Take a Tour of the Dr. Grabow Factory!

If I ever find my way to that area of the country, I'm totally stopping into the factory to take the tour, buy a pipe, meet the people. Same goes for Ireland. The LotH wants to go to Ireland someday, I said ok, but I get to see the Guiness and Peterson factories. She wants to see some old castle ruins, which are more of a collapsed foundation at this point. I'll stay in Dublin with a beer (or three) and a pipe (or two). lol

Very cool video. Thanks for sharing the link.

Throw in some Jameson and/or Bushmills and I'll go with ya!

Divide and conquer! I think Guiness is garbage so it will work out well, Beamish is much better IMO

It's not a perfect be all end all stout, but it stands as a decent product offering. I simply have one of those stories of drinking myself sick in my youth on Canadian whiskey, and now I can't stand the taste of anything whiskey/bourbon, with some expensive single malt scotches as an exception. lol

I recommend the Jameson distillery, also in Dublin. There's a lot to see in the rest of the country, the west coast of Ireland was my favorite. Galway and Sligo were much cooler than Dublin, in my opinion.

I didn't think Sparta had anything in the town besides the gas station and a grocery store. Maybe if I drive through there at a decent hour I'll stop and see if I can check stuff out. Seems like every time I passed through it was midnight or later.

According to Google Maps, the factory is south of town, and in what appears to be a quite modern building. :w00t:
