Tabac Bath Soap is very different than the Tabac Shaving Soap. I'm not sure the scent is the same.

Huh--who'd have thunk? I really like PdP No. 63 and the bar soap scent is almost identical to the shave soap. I just read some reviews and it seems that all the Tabac products are same family, but slightly different. Too late to cancel the order (Amazon marks stuff as shipped really fast)--but at least I'll get an idea of what the generally family scent is.

October 4th means the 4th shave in a row with Tabac! Another 10/10 shave. Just like MWF, this puck is getting better with each and every use!

Tabac was lathered with a Jayaruh #270 brush. The razor was a new-to-me Gem Zinn Automatic (1905'ish) with a Proline B-20 blade. This was my first use of this razor and after 3-passes I had a DFS. Shave Craft 101 + US Personna (3)
3rd shave this blade. Used Lather & Wood Preshave Oil. Face lathered with Muhle XL and Tabac Original. 3 passes + touch ups to DFS+. Mild Witch Hazel report. Mild ASB report. Very close shave.

I realize it's a bit late to post, but I was doing Tabac only anyways since it's my goto for fall. The only bad thing about the jar is that it has a bit of a false bottom, so it looks like you have more than you do.

What an incredibly wonderful shave. Lots and lots of beautiful fluffy and slick lather.

The Tabac Aftershave Balm is really nice.

The Tabac Aftershave Splash and the Cologne are the perfect finish to a wonderful Tabactober shave.

Plus, the Tabac family scent is 'Wife Approved'.

First time using tabac and I must say I was pleasantly surprised - easy lather and a great shave with that timeless scent !
Gilde was maybe not quite as good as the last couple of days but the resulting shave was BBS with no irritation at all. The aftershave balm went on easily but I was initially worried it wouldn't absorb without being greasy ... needn't have as it absorbed quickly and has left my skin feeling great

Second use with the Personna Med blade and it was again excellent - maybe not quite as sharp as a Polsilver
