Tabac. What to expect?

Just ordered the ceramic container of Tabac from west coast shaving... I have a little arsenal of shaving soaps under my belt.. only the best for this guy.. heh Cella, Proraso, MdC scented, P160 tipo morbido, mikes natural soaps, Valobra stick, La toja stick (all bought on a whim from the awesome reviews from you guys on B&B!) so finally for the question... What should I expect in comparison to all the soaps i have tried???

Tabac is awesome. I haven't tried many soaps, but this is going to remain one of my favorites. It lathers effortlessly, provides great cushion, and smells great.

Maybe a mediocre lather and shave, until you dial in the right proportions of soap and water.

Get that worked out, and it is fabulous.

Slick, thick, tallowy goodness! I got it in my mouth not too long ago and............... it tastes just like it smells

Only been straight razor shaving for about a week, but Tabac is the 2nd soap I've tried so far. Shaved with it for the first time last night and it worked out very well once I got the soap<->water ratio dialed in. The smell is pretty strong, but it's not bad. It is hard to describe it, but it will definitely be a love it or loathe it scent. From reviews I read, most like it. My wife thinks it smells great, so I'll keep it around.

Tabac is the best performing soap I've tried, but the scent keeps me from using it again. My wife says it's like an old man who doused himself in cologne to try to hide the fact that he's been smoking. If you like the scent, you'll love the soap.

Stinks ,,, but can be a good stink to some, I use it sometimes. It lathers fast not like MDC but still easy. The protection and shave quality is just a good as most soaps out there, top notch.
