T&H shaving set brush

I got a got offered a: Edwardian Collection: Mach III. For 65$
Since i am not looking to use the razor I wondering if the super badger brush is something worth buying?

The brush is highly regarded by some. I haven't used one, however. It certainly is a classic look. Please let us know whether you get it, or not!

I was unable to find any information on the brush itself, so I wrote an email to Truefitt & Hill:

What size is the brush? 11cm x 3cm (should have specified knot size)

Does the brush have a specific name or model designation? No, it forms part of the Edwardian set and is not a standalone product.

How does this brush compare to others in your collection in terms of quality and performance? They are manufactured and assembled by the same company; therefore, the quality remains throughout the range.

It is on the heavier side, weighing 85 grams.

Since I have only used it once, I don’t have much to say about it, other than that I am not disappointed.

On a side note, the razor, which I’m not going to use, seems to have a weak connection with the blade pack. It comes off quite easily.

DE razors fit securely on the stand.

It's getting better and softer, but I'm still not that impressed. I do really like the look and the stand, though.
