Absolutely!
Does it count if one has visited Rochester? Or even more significantly that Syracuse has joined the ACC. There will be a lot more folks headed into the deep south and back up into the great north for sporting events. Google maps shows that it is only 1,416 miles or 20 hours 26 mins between Miami and Syracuse.
Graduated from Syracuse University. Still remember the winters and the Spring melt.

Hail from the Shale!
Made the drive once while in college with a buddy in his brand new Corvette and it took 25 hours. I doubt seriously that you can do it in the Google time. The distance of 1416 miles would require about 68mph average including all stops (gas, food, rest stops, traffic delays, weather, etc.). Taking either 81S or 95S with every third vehicle an 18 wheeler makes for a tough trip.

Left about 20 years ago but still consider the 'Cuse as home. I get back once a year to visit friends and family.
