I think the short answer is that in it's base is basically the same thing, all the key ingredients are there.
I've used my "Pro Victis" in the round tub about 3 times and as it was higher quality stuff (at least in price) I decided to leave it and go through other stuff (that I didn't enjoy as much) first. When I got back to it it was spoiled (is that the right word?).
My theory is that SV received some complains about this and acted on it, by tweaking the formulation (slightly) and changing the container.
I tried looking at the tube formulation, but the image in the website is very bad. The only thing I see, is that some ingredients changed places (they were already next to each other) and I don't see the Lonicera Caprifolium Extract/Locinera Japonica Extract, but that was originally at the end of the ingredient list, so I don't know if it really is a big change.
