Surprisingly good Simpsons brush

I have some decent brushes. Strangely, my favourite is also one of the cheapest - my Simpsons Duke 1 in Pure Badger. It is fabulous with soaps and cream, has body but is soft. It isn't a lather hog, it lets it all go. It is just the right size for face lathering. It loses nothing against my other brushes.

Anyone else rate this brush, or do you have a brush that is surprisingly good?

I actually love the Berkeley. Its one of the cheapest brushes Simpsons makes, but out of the dozen or so I've owned it is one of my favorites.

After I have some prickly bests, I didn't want to take the risk with a pure. It's great to hear you get on with yours.
