What's new

surfers unite.

Thanksgiving gift! A weak front pushed through SW FL last evening and I started watching buoys. They were pushing 6 ft from the WNW with light winds behind the front. Perfect setup for an early session before turkey. This would be my first Captiva surf since Ian and first since breaking my ankle 13 weeks ago. I was given the ok for all activities Tues. On the road just after 6 and in the water just after 7. Air temp 67, water temp 78, and light wind. Sanibel and Captiva have lots of recovering to do, but the surf was great! I love my Jeep, but check out that surfmobile!
