Surefire Coticule Source?

Hi all,

I had one coticule, once. It was a nice stone but I never mastered it. Needed money for other things and parted with it. Considering another.

When I got into JNATs, Alex Gilmore of The Japan Stone helped me out. He tested the stones and was able to tell me what stones he had on hand that would be excellent finishers.

Just wondering, is there any place out there that does this with Coticules so I can be sure I’m getting a nice finisher?

If you want a pure finisher, put out a wtb for a la verte coticule and be specific that you want it to be a retail stone from ardennes. Some ppl have been tacking vein names on any random thing these last couple of years and it's massively annoying. You will of course need to develop an operational feel for whatever coticule you buy.
