What's new

Superior 70 is my new favorite Bay Rum.

I actually found out shortly after asking [emoji2]

1 part Superior 70
1 part Pinaud VIBR
1 part Master Bay Rum

The VIBR gives the mix some burn, spice and longevity of scent. However, The Master's gives it the soothing healing properties of glycerin, while taking down the intense burn of VIBR to a nice burn. :) The genuine Bay Rum Oil in the Superior 70 ties them all together, by authenticating the bay rum scent and taking the sticky, tacky feeling out of the glycerin from the Master's.

Bootlegger's Bay Rum is an excellent value when looking at the price, quantity made and quality of the scent and face feel. It is also a perfect scent for the winter holidays. It is a very synergistic mix, in which the sum of all three, create something better than their individual parts.

Try it and see if you like it. If you do, there are other original Bootlegger's mixes to enjoy! :)

Superior 70 is awesome. Pure product with nothing except alcohol, water, and bay oil. That's about as basic as it can get.

I'm bumping an older thread because I've been in touch with some online retailers who would like to order this but can't find the distributor.

I actually live where they make the product. Here its used widely , a distillery makes it so they used to also produce rum. I mix my Superior 70 with old spice. Since i like strong alcohol on my aftershave, and old spice is too sweet for me 70%superior / 30%OS

Would you know the name of the company who makes it or where the Puerto Rico Distilling Company is located or who the distributor is?

Is there some sort of bay rum essential oil that could be added so that the fragrance of the Bootlegger's Mix lasts a bit longer? VIBR only lasts about an hour so if you mix it with the other two that are shorter lasting, the resulting scent can't last much longer than a half hour.
