At that price I'm staying away whatever it is! Sheesh, $350?

frankenrazor, IMHO. No prototype would be 2-toned like that (or at least that's what makes me very suspicious; that and the fact that I've not seen anything like it around here).
Looks like a brassed 41 Ranger Tech that someone cleaned the remaining nickel off of, except for the upper handle.

I am leaning towards not legit. To my somewhat trained eye (grew up in a machine shop) it looks like someone stripped the plating off of the head of the razor, and the tip of the handle, and then proceeded to polish the underlying brass.
If that is gold plating, it looks to be the wrong color to me....
That would explain the lack of endcaps.

That was the phrase that keyed me off. Isn't this the guy who did the Blue Boy adustable a few weeks ago?

You gotta be kidding me. I've seen Ranger Techs like this one on the BST
What's really galling is that he's obviously unsure what he's got, so he just speculates (or fabricates) the prototype line and proceeds to try to sell it for big bucks based on that alone. Even at it's best intent, the ad is misleading or even deceptive. Shameful.

That Blue Boy looks horrid!I am inclined to think this "prototype" is really a mash-up of spare parts from a few razors.
