Suggestions required: Aftershave splash performs like Proraso but without the price

I bought my first aftershave splash a few months ago... Proraso green aftershave. I love it but I am going through it very quickly. My 100ml bottle is quickly emptying and I just cant justify using it as my regular aftershave, which is very disappointing.

So please if you know of any aftershave splashes that perform really well but wont cost me around £12 for 100ml here in the UK, please let me know. It doesnt have to have menthol, I just want something fairly priced that feels and smells good.

I too love the Proraso green and I completely agree with you that it isn't justifiable for daily use (for me at least). I tried Pinaud Clubman and found it work quite well. It doesn't have that wonderful hit of menthol but it does leave my face feeling very soothed and refreshed. It was also considerably cheaper at around $7 for 12oz. I'm not sure what it would cost in the UK but it was so inexpensive here in the US that it was worth the gamble.

Captains Choice Bay Rum is my favorite. It runs $17.50 for a 4 oz. bottle, but it is very concentrated so a little goes a long way. A bottle lasts me about three months and I use it every day.

From what I see the 400-mL bottle of Proraso only costs twice as much as the 100-mL bottle. So the price per use drops 50%.

I thought Boots Freshwood was decent stuff, but I only used it for about a week.

I think the OP is referring to the cost. I guess we all have different means.

For me Clubman is the best deal out there. Even better if you get the 12 oz version from Sally as it's more or less the same price as the 6 oz version everywhere else.

just how much are you guys using in a go? i must really be stingy with my dose when i shave.. sometimes i splurge by going for a second application, but definitely not going through it at the rate that makes me concerned about running out.
