Styptic or Roll on nick stick?

Which is better, or rather, what are the major differences between a styptic stick and a roll on cut healer, such as My Nik Is Sealed? I know that styptic sticks tend to be cheaper, are very effective, but they leave a salt stain. I don't know anything about roll on sticks though.

I don't know about the roll on, but as for the the white left on your skin, I usually just take a damp towl and gentley wipe it away a few minutes later with no bleeding.

The Styptic has always worked well for me. I use the Piinaud sold at W-mart for $.99

I bought a 3-pack of My Nik is Sealed for $12 on ebay and I love this stuff! It leaves no residue and it works very fast and is much easier to apply. Be warned though it burns!!

Since I've tried styptic matches, guess I gotta try the roll-on.

After trying both I must say that for me the styptic is much better.

I let my straights get a bit dull and was using a bit of extra pressure to compensate. Did a little damage which my styptic pencil didn't really work on so I fell back on the tried and true . . . a little piece of toilet paper.

Honed my razors this morning so I'm back to a light touch.
