Stubble Trimmer Recommendation Please ?

So far, both myself and friends of mine have all had great luck with the Wahl brand of trimmers, just a matter of picking the one that seems to fit best for the use it will get.

Stubble trimmer as in beard trimmer? I'd get whatever is inexpensive. As long as the guide doesn't slip (in the case of adjustable guides) there's not much difference. In 17 years of trimming a beard, I've had expensive ones, and I've had cheap ones. They all worked the same.

Edit: Both my current battery operated beard trimmer, and my hair clipper are Wahl though. I do like the battery operation, internal unreplaceable batteries die and then the razor is worthless, whereas if you take care of it and can change the battery it'll last forever.

Hi all,

I'm searching for one and seems like the iStubble is good, some sort to do with the floating contour head.
Does it matter how short can it go? 0.5mm lowest or 1mm is fine for the 5 o'clock shadow?

I hope to get something sub $50 and supports 220v.

Thanks.

Finding one that supports the 220v will be the challenge, I am thinking. You may need to pick out a few you like and then send a question to the company's support staff about the 220v part, if none of the documentation you find has that info.

I think 220v is not difficult..those listed are.

My question is, in my life I have not used any electrical razor. So I do not know what feature to look for. Anyone of you guys can lend a helping hand. What I know is the floating contour head and also the minimum stubble length. Anything else that I should take note of? Thanks

Since I haven't looked into trimmers that are maintaining stubble, I'm pretty out of my comfort zone here. Looking at it logically, the floating head will make it easier to get a consistent stubble length in all the areas you use it, and something that can give a pretty large range of length would be good, so you can dial in how much growth you want to show.
