strop

Anyone here strop their DE blades? I do not recall where I saw it, but a guy used the palm of his hand to "strop" his DE blade. I realize most of us toss our blade after 3-4 shaves, but I was just wondering if anyone thinks this is effective.

I tried it and I didn't feel a difference. It didn't extend the life of my blades so I stopped. Some are doing it and it works for them. A YMMV type of thing...
