What's new

Street Photography

Who here does it? I really used to enjoy it before I had a 30lb bag of equipment. I now have an OM-D with two primes that have got me wanting to get out and shoot. I'm going to Baltimore this weekend and hoping to get some photos worth posting.

Here's a few older ones:

Here is a recent one. I live in Tokyo, and got this one while walking home from Akihabara. I was shooting a Nikon S3 rangefinder camera with a Nikkor W 35mm f/1.8 lens.

This one is from the Franc Franc store in Omotesando. I was shooting a Leica M4M with a 50mm f/1.4 Summilux lens.

Talk about being in one of the best cities in the world for street photography!

I love that shot. The way that the old man on the bike is in the shadow but his face is still exposed properly and you can see detail.

Post#11 the grocery beer wine photo fantastic shot reminds me of an old Nat Geo magazine pic. Post #12 that angle was perfect for the coffee house shot awesome.

I remembered another one of mine I really like. I have a lot of other photos that are portraiture in a looser sense of the word that look like street photos, but they're staged.

@Ninja the guy in the crosswalk pic is fantastic. Post some more pics from Japan. If possible can you post any pics of an authentic ramen shop?
