My streamline came out nice and shiny after a buffing today. I am going to give it another try tonight fingers crossed I can get a good shave out of it.

I had terrible luck with the razor seems like the one and only SE razor I am able to get a great shave from is the Cobra Classic. At least I can say I have shaved with a Streamline.
Bummer about the shave, was it a fresh blade? Is this going show up on the BST, I'm sure it would be gone quickly? Nice polishing work!

I used a Gem blade and the BST thought is a good idea. I also have the NOS stropper that goes with the razor but no case, is there a name for this particular set?
I have one and get a great shave from it. For me, it took a few shaves to get the right touch with it, however. It's very...."efficient", and requires less pressure than the 1912s that I use more often in rotation. Watch the angle too. I don't know how much you use other Gems, but the blade door should usually be almost flat against your face.
Very good advice! With mine, I use almost no pressure at all. The heft of this razor does all the cutting for me. I hope you keep at it. They are a delight to shave with.
