Hey guys, anybody ever go from a straight razor to a double edge razor as their primary shaving choice? Usually it seems people go from disposable to safety/DE and then to a straight. Thoughts or input?

I think some members did that path.
I started with a DE as it was easier to use with the blade and everything. Knowing what I know today, I would've pick the straight razor path first!

Normally its the other way around, but it does happen.
Probably because straights are so awesome, that once you use them you dont want to stop

Sure, anythings possible. I started with the DE and started using the straight about a year later. If I'm pressed for time I'll use the DE just because its faster. The straight is for those times I want a super close shave, and I've got the time to really enjoy it.
