I am under the impression that a few of those thread links are broken.
The "le Jaguar" and "Ivory scaled one" are the 2 that I have found to go to a page not found message.
There might be others too that I did not try.

I shaved with my 6/8 Le chasseur for the first time last night. I stropped it and shaved with the factory edge. It gave a close shave with little to no irritation. Any that arises I will blame myself for. I had not shaved for almost a week. The quality is there. I do not regret the purchase at all.
