I have 7 razors in my collection now, and I need an economical storage solution. I'm thinking of just using a mason jar on the bathroom counter as it takes up very little space. Is there any reason why this wouldn't be a good idea?

I had similar when living in Cebu, Philippines where it's hot and humid all year round. Thirty litre capacity with digital control and about USD 80 new including shipping from Manila.I live in Japan where it is dry and cold in the winter and hot and humid in summer with a rainy season in June that is just moist and miserable. I did Tupperware for my first year but now I have graduated to a dry cabinet for cameras and lens. I got a used one for less than $50 that will hold hundreds of razors. My collection is only about 50 razors but this cabinet gives me piece of mind.
Promises are made to be broken! My SR storage solution...a redesigned dish rack for 11 but due to unexpected acquisitions, have since taken on double duty for some slots. I promised myself no more...

Ahahaha... Many thanks for your continued encouragement!Promises are made to be broken!
What are friends for anyway? Besides that must have been the wrong elevator you were contemplating entering because the rabbit hole elevator only has a ”down” button.Ahahaha... Many thanks for your continued encouragement!
Just the much-needed pick-me-up line for me to realize I was dangerously on the elevator out of the rabbit hole...must-get-out!!!
My straight razor storage just got an upgrade with these foam toe separators. This keeps the razors upright and separated from each other. Best of all I can now fit five razors in a case! These tupperdors are nothing fancy. They are all about humidity control.
My stainless steel travel razor just lives in the dopp bag. That one doesn’t need any special care.
