Absolute worst case scenario, I'll use the scales for an old Greaves I have...but I'm feeling confident in my purchase.

CVH 5/8" extra thin rattler grind, excellent condition, no more than a few insignificant little pits, virtually no honewear if any. I was prepared to pay quite a bit more than I ultimately did, nice surprise.

Recently got this really neat/unique Wade/Butcher. Love the spine as well as engraved art…. Does anyone know what width this would have been originally when new?

It’s roughly 13/16”. Debating a good cleanup vs. full blown restore/polish (removal of scales and polishing blade and horn scales).

One more from Sheffield…. A Tilliston (Harmar) smiley wedge from mid 1800s. Box and razor in phenomenal condition, and it was a steal at just over half a Benjamin. Can anyone speak to the quality of Tilliston blades? It’s my first encounter with one. So far it seems to be well made!

This ⅝ Torrey #2 is on it's way to me as I type. My first ever US made SR. I hope it shaves well after a honing.

after cleaning and sharpening it it shaves so much better than my gold dollar :O
i slide it across my arm without even really touching the skin and all the hairs just jump into the air!
