Was watching with great interest, but .... Heck no. $765 for a razor? I don't care how old it is or who made it. No way.

Those white whales that get beyond 8/8 can fetch some very nice prices. Tis the way of supply and demand with this hobby.

Same I was willing to go $150-225 knowing the razor would be closer to 8/8 -9/8 after honing the chips out.

Wow that's big! And I thought the Wade and Butcher I found today was big. I did save $750 + shipping thought.

Some more recent on-line acquisitions. A Puma Inox, a Geneva Cutlery and a 5/8 Ralf Aust. The Geneva has been a surprise it was very inexpensive, yet takes a very good edge.

Well my Dubl Duck Wonderedge has arrived, and wow this is going to look good when its done.....
beware pic heavy,,,



Now I just gave it a quick clean on the show side to see how much work its going to need



So this one when done will join the other 2 and one happy chappy….

It is my understanding the 5/8 is less desired and less pricey but the 5/8 would be my preference in any razor.

I'm not sure tbh but I do like the 5/8th and the other 2 are the same size, this will team up with these 2.

That Sir!!!! is beautiful just make sure to wear slippers while shaving, as if you drop it I'm sure it will remove toes but congratulations on a great score.....
