Storing Soap After Use

I recently bought some Cella as recommended by many members here as my first soap. I made a test lather tonight and it seemed to turn out very well. Is it okay to just put the lid on and put it away after rubbing the wet brush all over the top of it? There seemed to be a little bit of lather built up on top of the dish. I just want to make sure that wont hurt the rest of soap.

I've done it. The lather just dries up and there no problem with it the nest time you pull it out.
