Store brand razors?

I was wondering who makes all these store branded razors, anyone know?
Places like CVS, RiteAid, Walgreens, Kroger, Foodlion etc etc etc

there are only 2 players ASR (American Safety Razor in Verona Virgina) who make the Personna brand and Dorco, the Korean blade manufacturer

Alright. Are the Personna made ones the labs or meds, or some random blade?
I can't even use dorco. Stuff cut me like no other.
Thanks guys.

The only ones I've ever seen are made by ASR. I only know about the Dorco blades from reading about them here.

The only thing that differentiates between store brand blades is the packaging and the price. The blades themselves are identical from one store chain to another.

The store-branded Personnas are neither Labs nor Meds, but Barbers, or "saloon packs". Nowhere near the smoothness of the Labs or Meds, but definitely better than the Dorcos. I'd use them in a pinch, but not if I had another choice.

CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, are good blades. All ASR. I've bought some Top Value from Wegmans and some other store brand from Food Lion (SE's) and they were horrible. Not sure about the Top Value blades but the Food lion blades were from Korea, so I assume Dorco. Stick to the drug stores and you're fine.

Alright, thanks for the info, guys! Just made traveling easier!
