Damn...that's very nice looking. Unfortunately I live with a woman who has other plans for all our cabinet space. I would totally do something like this if I had it available!
I'm working on a prototype stand now to hold my small assortment of razors. Here's an idea of what one of the arms will look like. Handmade from East Indian Rosewood, I am going for a configuration of 3 (triangle pattern), 4 (x pattern) or more (inline arrangement) on a sculpted base, potentially made from some type of soapstone.

I like the look of that. Did you buy the dividers that way or did you make them yourself? I'd like to find some of those.I found some stacking bamboo boxes at the discount store. Added some dividers and a plexiglass top and voila !!

Thats what I'm thinking of doing as well. Got my eye on this one for that purpose http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IIZFNAG...TF8&colid=1JMV9OE8GNCI5&coliid=I1XMHQQD70RG3YRight now they are stored in a wooden box but this is not ideal and I may get a display box with a glass window sometime.

Here's what I've got. Its a $12 jewelry display case I ordered off of Amazon. I made the razor rack myself out of wood and lined the entire inside with black felt. Entire project cost me about $25 and I really like the result.
Agreed, I'm working on a solution for that right now. As with everything in this hobby, its a work in progress...Now you just need to magnetize the bottom of the cabinet & brushes so you can hang dry them! (Or build a few holders on the bottom)

I really like the look of them. It looks like you bought the cabinet that way! Nice work.I made the dividers... As I have access to a table saw, it wasn't much trouble.
I never thought about putting those adhesive fooks in my cabinet! Great idea!I used a screw for my blades, some adhesive hooks, and velcro for my storage within my vanity cabinet.
